Storyline

At the heart of the HIV/AIDs epidemic, a single number and letter designated a ward on the fifth floor of San Francisco General Hospital, the first in the country designed specifically to treat AIDS patients. The unit's nurses' and caregivers' emphasis on humanity and consideration of holistic well-being created a new standard of care in a time of great uncertainty. Written by 5B Rep

We Need to Remember
24 June 2019 | by brendaniforthSee all my reviews

I think this is a documentary everyone should see. Many don't know about or have forgotten the ravages of AIDS. This look back at just a few extraordinarily courageous people is inspiring and heartwarming. You may be able to quibble about the clear point of view of the directors, but you can't deny that these inspiring and kind individuals are deserving of recognition.
