American Crime Story

The Man Who Would Be Vogue

Penelope Cruz seems to be doing a good job considering she had to learn English with an Italian accent but here Darren Criss is the one to be appreciated here since he puts all his chips in; from the first frame he allows us to hate the character and also be surprised by the charm he possess (the first encounter of him with Gianni Versace speaks for itself). And in the end everything rests on Ryan since American Crime Story has always been more of a directors show than writers as its heart lies in how perfect the depiction of the history is.
