Prior to an official viewing by the BBFC, the filmmakers submitted a rough cut of the film to the board whom informed the company that the film would likely be given the '18' certificate citing stronger moments of violence as a concern; the filmmakers then made changes to the film toning down these scenes following which the film was rated '15'.
