After the tragedy of their cat being killed by a truck, Louis resorts to burying it in the mysterious pet cemetery, which is definitely not as it seems, as it proves to the Creeds that sometimes, dead is better.

When Ellie begins climbing the barrier in the "pet sematary", she accidentally kicks what appears to be a hornets nest, and is stung on the leg. Judd appears and immediately removes the stinger, and applies a dab of mud as first aid. Hornets do not leave their stingers behind when they sting. Only bees do this. See more »
Paramount Pictures Australia submitted a 98 minute version of Pet Sematary which gained an MA15+ rating. Presumably this version was pre-cut in an attempt to gain a lower M rating.
