Ethel Merman shows up as the weeks mystery challenger. Panelists Dorothy Kilgallen, Allen Ludden, Arlene Francis and Bennett Cerf begin the show by guessing the lines of a woman from North Carolina who raises mice for research. As well as, an 85 year old man from New Jersey who paints flagpoles. Finally, the panelists try to identify the weeks celebrity mystery challenger, Ethel Merman.

James Stewart takes his turn as the weeks mystery guest while Joseph Mankiewicz sits on the panel with Dorothy Kilgallen, Arlene Francis and Bennett Cerf and begins the show by guessing the line of a man from south Africa who's a crocodile hunter. As well as, the line of an elderly woman from California who's the voice of Woody WoodPecker, aka Grace Stafford. Then, the guest try to identify the weeks celebrity mystery challenger, James Stewart. Finally, a woman who's a men's barber.

Two Mystery Guests: football player Y.A. Tittle; actor Charles Boyer (4th appearance as mystery guest)
Y. A. Tittle and Charles Boyer are the weeks mystery celebrity challengers, while Tony Randall joins Arlene Francis, Dorothy Kilgallen and Bennett Cerf on the panel, and starts the show blindfolded while guessing the line of occupation of the 1st challenger, NY quarterback and NFL legend Y.A. Tittle. Next, the panel tries to guess the line of a young pretty blonde woman from Brooklyn who ties knots on the ends of frankfurters. Then, the panel tries to identify the weeks celebrity mystery challenger, Charles Boyer. Finally, a man who sells feathers.

Two Mystery Guests: chicken restaurateur Colonel Harland Sanders; comedian Alan King
Alan King is the weeks mystery challenger and, America is introduced to Mr. KFC himself, Colonel Sanders. Panelists Arlene Francis, Martin Gabel (Arlene's husband), Dorothy Kilgallen and Bennett Cerf begin by trying to guess the occupation of a little old man from Shelbyville, Kentucky who's the head of the 'Southern Fried Chicken Company'. Despite the Colonel having 900 outlets selling his "finger lickin' good chicken" all over the world by 1963, none of the panelist had a clue as to who he was. The panel never identified his line and the Colonel won $50 as a result....

Sophie Tucker - 2nd appearance as mystery guest
One of the last of the red hot mama's (aka Sophie Tucker) appears as the weeks mystery challenger while Peter Cook joins the panel with Dorothy Kilgallen, Arlene Francis and Bennett Cerf and tries to guess the lines of a woman from Miami, FL who's a US custom inspector. As well as, two men from Chicago who put laces in footballs. The men were never identified by the panel. Next up, the panel tries to guess the identity of the celebrity mystery challenger Sophie Tucker. Finally, the panel takes a shot at guessing the line of a man from Palisades Park, NJ who sells ...
