Vin Diesel To Produce Cop Drama
NBC has put in development Conway, a crime drama about a brilliant detective from Vin Diesel, his One Race TV and Universal Television, where Diesel and One Race TV are under a deal.

Written by Jonny Umansky, Conway centers around St. Louis detective Cal Conway, who finds his world turned upside down when he wakes up from a coma with exceptional cognitive abilities. Returning to the force, he sets out to solve the city’s most complex cases but the discovery of a lethal side effect makes Cal wonder whether his new abilities are more of a blessing or a curse.

The series is inspired by a real world condition, affecting just 50 people around the world, who have survived traumatic brain injuries. In these rare instances, the brain responds to trauma in spectacular ways, resulting in individuals suddenly possessing extraordinary new genius-level talents and cognitive abilities.

Escape at Dannemora's Eric Lange on Lyle's Devotion to His Cheating Wife: 'His Heart's In the Right Place'

If Escape at Dannemora‘s Lyle Mitchell were a fictional character, he’d be

unbelievable, too much, just a hair past plausible. Because really, how could a man paired with such an off-putting woman be so blindly loyal — and fiercely loving — even as she cusses him out, stands him up on their anniversary and makes a mockery of their marriage?

And he doesn’t even know about the hacksaws in the ground hamburger yet.

To be fair, that’s our harsh take on Lyle, who over four episodes of Showtime’s limited series has proven a very devoted husband to

How the Arrowverse Finally Got to Use Gotham (But Never Show Batman)
Tonight on Arrow (The CW, 8/7c), the Arrowverse finally sets foot in the infamous Gotham, after so many years of merely alluding to the gritty metropolis and its resident caped crusader. In fact, there was a time when you couldn’t even speak of Gotham if you were a superhero series.
