In that time, he has accumulated vast intellectual knowledge, from multiple languages to the sciences, as well as survival skills. Zach Dean is among the writers who’ve written versions.

‘Captain Marvel’ and ‘Us’ Have Pushed ‘The Right Stuff’ Back Into the Spotlight
Over the past three weeks, moviegoers have flocked to see “Captain Marvel,” and this past weekend, many of them came back to theaters to see Jordan Peele’s acclaimed horror film “Us.” By sheer coincidence, both of these very different films make reference to the same classic 1980s film: “The Right Stuff.”

In “Captain Marvel,” the nod to the Best Picture Oscar nominee comes when Vers — a.k.a. Carol Danvers — crash lands on Earth and finds herself in a Blockbuster Video. As she looks around, she picks up a VHS copy of “The Right Stuff,” which was one of the inspirations behind the film.

After Mueller Report, Colbert Tells Trump He’s Sorry – That Trump Is ‘a Terrible President’ (Video)
On Monday, Stephen Colbert took a moment to process his feelings about the end of Robert Mueller’s investigation — specifically U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr’s assertion that Mueller’s report says there is no evidence of collusion between Russia and Trump.

First, Colbert said the “anticlimactic” end of Mueller’s investigation was worse than the “Lost” finale. “I mean, what about the smoke monster, was it real or not? And if not,” asked Colbert during the show’s opening monologue, “why have so many members of Trump’s campaign plead guilty to lying about meeting with the smoke monster?”

“Why couldn’t have this been like the ending of ‘Seinfeld,'” Colbert continued. “Still disappointing, but at least they’re all in jail.”

(Warning: This post contains spoilers for Monday’s episode of “9-1-1,” titled “Chimney Begins”)

Tonight’s episode of “9-1-1” jumped between scenes of Kenneth Choi’s character (possibly?) bleeding to death outside Maddie’s (Jennifer Love Hewitt) apartment in the present day and an origin story that revealed how Chimney — err, Howard came to Station 118 many years ago.

TheWrap spoke with Choi about the beginnings of Chimney on Monday’s episode, aptly titled “Chimney Begins.” But before we go back to 2005, we tried to get the Fox first-responder drama’s star to tell us what’s going to happen to our boy in the future.

“All I can say is that last we saw him, he was in that corridor bleeding out, so I really can’t tease much,

A week after he resigned as CEO of Warner Bros. Kevin Tsujihara will also step down from the Anita Hill-led Hollywood Commission on Eliminating Sexual Harassment and Advancing Equality, a representative from the commission told TheWrap.

Tsujihara resigned from Warner Bros. last week following an investigation into his past relationship with actress Charlotte Kirk. The Hollywood Reporter published texts between Kirk and Tsujihara that suggested she sought his help in obtaining acting jobs after engaging in a sexual relationship with him. Both Tsujihara and Kirk denied any wrongdoing.

“The members of the Hollywood Commission on Eliminating Sexual Harassment and Advancing Equality are not the 26 executives who serve as Commissioners but rather the 26 studios, networks, streaming services, talent agencies, trade associations, and unions they represent.
