Can someone please get Ruby Rose a tissue? And actually, can you grab us one too, because the “Orange Is the New Black” alum’s story about being cast as The CW’s Batwoman is just too sweet.

Rose told Jimmy Fallon the story when she stopped by “The Tonight Show” Wednesday night, just a few days after landing the role — which also happens to be the first lesbian superhero introduced into the DC Extended Universe. It’s an emotional milestone for the out actress, who has been preparing for this part — unknowingly — since she was a kid.

The Meg” star told Fallon how she used to make her own toys growing up and fashioned batwings out of recycled cardboard boxes.
